National Sports Day

On 29^th August, students and teachers of Dnyansampada School offered tribute to Major Dhyanchand on the occasion of National Sports Day. A speech highlighting the greatness and contribution of Major Dhyanchand in Indian Hockey was delivered in the school assembly. The sports department conducted recreational games activity for all classes making the sports day joyous for the students. The students of class 1^st to 4^th enjoyed participating in Zig-Zag race, Sack race, Obstacle race and Three-legged race. The students of class 5^th to 7^th participated in house-wise handball match. A kabaddi match between 8^th and 9^th was held for boys and girls respectively. The National Sports Day portrayed the importance of sports in every individual’s life by conducting various activities.
